Combine cocoa, sugar, salt and spices. Add boiling water. Blend. Place over low heat, bring to a boil and boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Cool. Add honey and vanilla. Store in covered jar in refrigerator until ready to use. Makes 2 ¼ cups.
Heat ¼ cup Honey Cocoa Syrup with 2 cups of milk over low heat. Before serving beat with rotary beater.

1 cup sugar

1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 ½ cups boiling water
2 teaspoons vanilla
